!!WIN!! Be in the running to win a robotics kit.

Through a series of coding and robotics mini-challenges children will apply their creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving and coding skills to complete the fun challenges. No prior coding experience is required. Girls and Boy will be using robotics kits such as Codey Rockey and Sphero for Robotics Challenges, and free online resources with programming languages like Scratch to complete the online coding challenges.

Delivered online, the mini challenges are designed to complete at home at children own pace with support from the Western BACE STEM Squad. At the end of the Lifelong Learning Festival, girls and boys will have a chance to submit their work and go in the running to win their own robotic kit.

Fun, engaging and low-pressure, this school holiday activity is geared towards girls and boys aged 9 -12. No prior coding experience is required. Kids will be using the programming language Scratch to complete the mini challenges.

All activities are aimed to create an inclusive learning opportunity with activities able to be completed within a few hours over the week and easily be scaled up or down to suit your child’s skills and abilities. All online sessions and group discussions will be recorded and made available if your child is not able to attend one of the online sessions.
